Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、①環境の持続可能性に焦点をあて、ESDの視点をもって「虫」という身近な生きものを主題とした乳幼児時期の保育カリキュラムの構築を目指す。これは、奈良教育大学附属の幼保連携型認定こども園（2024年度設置予定）と共同して、0歳児を含む乳幼児期の保育カリキュラム開発を実施するものである。さらに、②自然（虫）と関わる保育についての評価指標を開発し、客観的な評価に基づく省察と改善のサイクルを構築する。研究代表らは、25年にわたって子どもと虫との関わりを研究し、幼児期の教育プログラム開発に携わってきた。それらの知見を結集して保育カリキュラム開発の実現に挑む。
