Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、各地の保育所の状況についての実地調査やアンケート調査を行う。それによって状況の異なった地域ごとに保育の供給側と需要側の両方の視点から、保育の実態把握を進め保育の多様な現状を明らかにする。さらに把握した現状を踏まえ、今後の保育の在り方やより幅広い活動への可能性を探り、より良い保育を担保する制度を考察したい。これまでのような全国一律の制度ではなく、今後は地域の実情に応じた保育制度が求められると考えており、それについての検討も進めたい。そこには「地域における保育所・保育士等の在り方に関する検討会」で提案された新たな保育所の役割や事業を、どう実現していくかの視点も含む予定である。
