Outline of Research at the Start	保育所等の利用率が増加する一方、保育の質や安全性が懸念される事態も起きている。保育の質・安全性に影響を与える要因は複数あるが、保育者の労働条件はその一つであり、中でも保育士配置基準は保育者の労働条件の中心的な指標と言われている。しかし、日本の保育士配置基準は、その水準の低さが長年問題となってきた。改正には、基準見直しの必要性を根拠づける実証的なデータが必要であると考え、本研究では、保育者を対象とした調査を行い、保育士配置基準が保育の質・安全性に与える影響を定量的に評価する。保育の質・安全性を測定する指標は、ヒアリングや文献レビューを実施して選定する。研究結果は専門家間で協議し、情報発信を行う。
