Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、セミパラチンスク核実験場周辺に現在居住している子どもたちが受けている被害を、子ども本人や保護者へのインタビューによって包括的にとらえ、核実験が子どもの人生に与える影響を明らかにする。これまでの調査により、核実験を直接経験していない現代の子どもやその保護者の多くが、自分の障がいや疾患を核実験に起因するものであると認識していることが分かった。しかしながら、その認識の明確な根拠は見出せておらず、被害の具体的内容についてもすべてが明らかになったとは言えない。さらにインタビューを積み重ね、核実験が現代の子どもに何を及ぼしたのかを、質的・量的な分析双方を用いて検討し、多角的に提示し発信する。
