Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、アジア諸国の市民性育成教育を調査し，我が国の社会系教科教育の再構築を図ることを最終目標としている。そのためには，アジア諸国における児童生徒が，社会に参画するためにどのような「リテラシー」をもち，その育成のために、社会系教科目として，どのようなカリキュラムやプログラムを開発し，実践を展開しているのかを明らかにすること，各々の特質を明らかにした上で，我が国の市民性育成を図る社会系教科の実践に結びつけることが必要である。将来のアジア諸国共通の初等及び中等前期段階の児童生徒の市民性育成及び各国の状況に応じたカリキュラムや共通実践を開発しようとする点に、本研究の特徴がある。
