Outline of Research at the Start	パターン認識は、認知的スキルにおける基礎的能力の一つであり、算数や数学の学習では最も基礎的な資質・能力とされている。パターン認識能力を育むことが、様々な数学的概念の習得を促進することも分かっている。しかしながら、日本の幼児教育では「遊びを通して学ぶ」という教科総合的な視点が重視されており、算数や数学といった教科的な視点から指導することは避ける傾向がある。以上から、本研究では、日本の幼児教育においてパターンに関する指導を取り入れ、遊びの中でパターン認識能力を育む方略を明らかにする。
