Outline of Research at the Start

STEM教育に関する研究は，科学領域からの研究が中心であり，技術教育はあまり注目されていない。そこには，コンピテンシーベースであるSTEM教育実践の特性と，コンテンツベースで進められてきた従来の技術教育の特性の相違が関連している。しかし，コンピテンシーベースのSTEM教育実践は，技術教育にとって示唆的要素が多分にある。そこで本研究は，技術教育の根底にある「ものづくり（Engineering）」を通して身につける能力をSTEM教育のレンズを通して再考することで，VUCA社会における技術教育の役割を再確認する。その上で，工学・技術の立場から，本来目指されるべきコンピテンシーベースのSTEM教育を提案することを目的とする。
