Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、大学生等に対する貸与型奨学金の返還に注目し、特に近年広がりつつある地方公共団体および企業による返還支援制度の特質と課題を明らかにすることを目的としている。内閣府の調査では、大学卒業者の新規学卒就職者は3年以内に離職する割合が3割を超えていることが報告されており、貸与型奨学金を借りている場合は延滞に陥る可能性が高い。そこで、本研究ではその解決策の一つとして人材確保を目的として貸与型奨学金の返還支援を行う地方公共団体・企業に注目し、質問紙・インタビュー調査からその現状と課題を検討する。さらに高校生・大学生に対する調査も実施し、制度に関する認知度や意識についても明らかにする。
