Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、聴覚障害児の日常の発話明瞭度（日本語）に注目し、そこから英語の発音指導においてどの程度の明瞭さに目標を置くことができるかを検討するための尺度を作成するとともに、フォニックスや語の構造的知識（語頭／語尾等）に関する情報を合わせた指導を行うことにより、聴覚口話的なアプローチでは英語的な音声を目指すことが難しい多くの聴覚障害児にその可能性を広げるものである。
この点で学術的に独自性が高い研究であるとともに教育改善に大きく寄与するものである。
