Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、生徒実験に特化した安価なDNA検出装置の開発を目指す。近年、遺伝子組換え技術やmRNAワクチンの開発など、分子生物学の発展が目覚ましい。生徒実験は、このような先端の学問分野を学ぶ有効な手段である。しかし、一般的な分子生物学実験の機器は高額であり、授業の中に実験を取り入れることは難しい。中学校や高等学校では、身近な生物試料からDNAを回収し、溶液、ろ紙に塗布した状態など、様々な状態でDNAを検出する生徒実験が提案されている。本研究では、回収したDNAを蛍光色素で染色し、それを検出できる装置の開発を目指す。また、開発した装置や実験手順は公開し、教育者や研究者が広く使用できるようにする。
