| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では、専門英語教育の新しいチャレンジとして、化学・生物及び材料分野の高専生が最も興味をもつ実験科目に着目し、e-Bookを含めたインタラクティブな電子コンテンツの開発およびその最適な利用方法の模索を行い、高専英語教育の新しいアプローチを探ることを目的とする。学生の英語学習モチベーションの向上・持続させることで実践的英語能力の改善・レベルアップを目指す。その成果を他の分野へ展開すれば、将来、文科省が推奨する「STEAM教育」に関する日本の課題点（STEAM教育への取組み-文部科学省資料より）を解決する一つの手段になり得ると考えている。
