Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、遠隔教育を中心に教育を展開してきた通信制大学の教育体制を訪問ならびにインタビューにより調査・分析し、そこで提供されている教育活動の機能を明らかにする。それを対面教育を中心とする通学制大学と比較することによって、高等教育が担う役割の多様な側面と、それら各々の目的を達成するために必要な教育手段を明らかにすることを試みる。
