Outline of Research at the Start	日本と途上国の両者で、子供達が学校で学ぶSTEM科目と実社会での科学技術の関連を実感できないことが課題となっている。衛星電波受信実験は、科学技術と子供達自身の学ぶSTEM科目との関連を実感できる実験教材であると、我々は明らかにしてきた。そこから、安価で容易に学校現場で使える機材による衛星電波受信実験は、日本と途上国両者の問題を解決できる教材になり得ると着想した。本研究では、ソフトウェア受信機と小型コンピュータを機材とした受信実験の教材セットを開発、日本国内外での実践を通じて改良し、かつ、その教育効果の測定を行う。その上で、教材セットを全世界に公開し、前述の日本と途上国両者の課題の解決を目指す。
