Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，絶滅危惧種の淡水緑藻類であるカワノリを活用して，科学・環境教育プログラムを開発する。第一の目的として，カワノリ保全のための人工養殖技術の確立を目指す。そのため，カワノリの生育記録地域において，水質・周辺環境・住民ヒアリング調査を行い，生育環境条件を明らかにすることと，カワノリの経年観察から胞子放出条件を定量化する。第二の目的として，カワノリの科学・環境教育教材としての利用に関する検証と学習機会の構築を行う。本種の人工養殖実験，生育地の観察，生育量減少の原因を探る環境学習だけにとどまらず，科学的，社会学的なアプローチで幅広い学習効果が見込まれることを総合学習の場で検証する研究である。
