Outline of Research at the Start

シチズンサイエンス（CS）とは専門家と市民が協働して行う科学研究である。近年、CSにおけるAIの活用が急速に拡大し、日本でもAIを活用したCSが徐々に始まっている。CSにおけるAI活用により、科学的生産性の向上、科学への参加機会の多様化、専門家と非専門家のギャップを埋めるなどの効果が期待される。一方で、AIは従来専門家のみが持ちえた専門能力を代替しうることから、CSにおける専門家や市民の役割分担を変える可能性がある。本研究では、CSにおけるAIが科学への市民参加にどのような影響を与えるか、さらには科学における研究者と市民の役割をどのように変えうるかを実証的に検証する。
