Outline of Research at the Start

2010年以降に生まれた「α世代」はソーシャルメディア・ネイティヴで新しい価値観を持つとされるが、その科学への態度は十分検証されておらず、現在の研究教育機関のアウトリーチ活動の担い手との価値観の乖離が広がっている可能性がある。さらに近年のデジタル化により情報伝搬の様子は急激に変化し、日本の9歳児童の7割以上が自分専用の通信機器を持っているが、現在彼らがどのように科学情報を受け取っているのかについては十分な情報がない。本研究では、α世代の科学への態度と、デジタル情報化社会における科学教育格差に注目し、次世代の科学コミュニケーション活動に示唆を与えることを目指す。
