Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、特別に高価な装置を必要とせずともDNA塩基配列を解析できる実験系の構築を目標としている。また、身近な実験器具や方法、簡便な操作と合理的な手順で出来る実験を志向し、より汎用的な場面でもDNA塩基配列の決定を可能とするような手法確立を目指す。生命科学の発展につれ、大学初等教育や高校の授業でも従来の分子生物学的知識が必須となる時代になってきた。このような状況において、本研究では、どのような実験室でも簡便に出来るDNA塩基配列決定の実験手法を確立し、一般社会におけるDNAに対する知識の浸透に貢献することを目指している。
