Outline of Research at the Start

アルコール、薬物、ギャンブルへの依存を含むアディクションは精神障害として認められて久しいが、いまだにその原因が依存症になった本人の性格的な問題と誤解されやすい。スティグマによる差別体験はアディクション問題を持つ人々を支援につながりにくくさせ、回復を遅らせる要因と考えられる。本研究ではアディクションの問題を持つ者が経験する偏見や差別の具体的理解を深め、スティグマ体験が援助要請意図に与える影響解明する。また、アルコール、薬物、ギャンブルの三大依存を対象とし、スティグマの種類と影響を比較検証することで日本社会における各依存症特有の課題とアディクション支援全般の課題を明確にする。
