Outline of Research at the Start	本研究課題では、意識的には表出をコントロールすることができない潜在意識（潜在態度）を測定可能な IAT (Implicit Association Test) 技法を採用して、潜在意識を扱う実験研究と、サーベイ研究（社会調査研究）両者の研究手法の統合を進め、排外主義の多層性に着目して、バイアス低減方策の有効性を意識レベルの差異を含めて多層的に検証する。本研究課題ではまた、多国間関係に関わる認識に関して、「IAT技法で測定した潜在意識指標」と、「伝統的なサーベイ調査で測定した顕在意識指標」との統合的測定に基づいて、顕在変数のみならず潜在変数も追加された因果モデルを新たに提供する。
