Outline of Research at the Start

児童生徒における不登校は多様な心理社会的問題と関連し、彼らの社会的自立を妨げる。そのため、不登校発生のリスク／保護要因の解明は児童生徒の健全な発達を育む上で重要である。しかし、国内には、不登校の予防的支援を構築する上で欠かせない、不登校発生のリスク／保護要因に関する縦断的知見はほとんどない状況にある。本研究は小中学生約1万人を対象とした５年間の縦断調査を行い、①不登校発生に関与するリスク／保護要因の同定、②不登校の重篤度を予測する変数の解明を試みる。方法論的強みを有する本研究が示す成果は、我が国の不登校の予防的支援の構築、発展に貢献し得る。
