Outline of Research at the Start	脳の機能は「おしくらまんじゅう」の状態にあると言え、脳の損傷によって特定の認知機能の低下が生じると、それ以外の機能が亢進・向上（いわゆるパラドックス現象）することがある。本研究では、認知症患者を対象に明らかにしてきたパラドックス現象の知見を敷衍することで、高齢者においても感覚面の変化と情動機能の変化が低下ではなく、亢進した状態にあると考え、これらについて実験・調査を通じて把握しその経過を捉えることが本研究の目的である。
