Outline of Research at the Start

数学の分野のうち整数，特に素数にまつわる様々なことを研究する分野を数論と呼ぶが，研究代表者の研究は，その中でも保型形式という，ある種の変換規則をみたす関数の性質について調べることである．特にアイゼンシュタイン級数という，ある種の無限和で表される保型形式は，最も基本的でありながら，そのフーリエ係数に多くの数論的情報が現れるほか，L関数という数論的に極めて重要な関数を調べるにも役立つ．このアイゼンシュタイン級数のフーリエ展開の明示式を，できるだけ具体的な形で書ききることを目標としている．
