（１）対数的del Pezzo曲面の分類、正標数の体上の分類を含む。
（２）Artin-Schreier被覆の幾何学、複雑な正標数の特異点の研究を含む。
（３）対数的一般型の代数曲面の分類。
（４）加法群の作用を用いたアフィン空間ファイブレーションの研究。とくに、どのような退化ファイバーが現れるかを調べて分類する。
（５）アフィン直線のシリンダーに対してHasseの原理が成立するかどうかを調べる。
