概周期構造の平行移動作用のスペクトル解析と代数的構造に注目し、様々な数学諸分野に概周期構造が共通に現れる原理を探る。とくに

1) 乗法的 Markoff-Lagrange スペクトルに現れる概周期構造、
2) 強非周期タイリングに現れる概周期構造

の原理の解明を行い。理論的発展と他分野への連携をめざす。
