Outline of Research at the Start

隣接する素数の差がどの程度大きくなりうるか, あるいは逆にどの程度小さくなりえるかという問題について, Ford, Green, Konyagin, Maynard, Taoらによる篩法による研究と, ディリクレL関数の非零領域の研究に基づく等差数列中の素数分布に関する技法を組み合わせて, 現在知られている最良の結果のさらなる改善に向けて研究を行う. 研究には解析的整数論の古典的な手法に加え, グラフ理論や確率論を用いた最先端の方法を取り入れることを計画している.
