Outline of Research at the Start

バナッハ空間の分類は、古来、線形等距離写像と線形同相写像の二種類の写像により行われてきたが、近年、バナッハ空間に自然に備わる距離構造や幾何構造に着目した、非線形写像による分類も盛んに行われている。本研究では、バナッハ空間の幾何構造に焦点を当て、Birkhoff-James直交性や幾何学的構造空間等を用いた単位球の形状解析を通して、バナッハ空間の幾何的分類理論の精密化を目指す。
