Outline of Research at the Start	2010年以降、地球温暖化が加速度的に進行し、夏に記録的豪雨や災害級の猛暑の発生頻度が増加しており、そのような“異常気象”の発生メカニズム解明と予測可能性の追求が重要視されている。本研究課題は、日本の夏季異常気象（豪雨・猛暑）の出現に対する、大気海洋相互作用を考慮した季節内変動に伴う大気大循環と人為的気候変動の影響の寄与を定量的に評価し、過去から将来気候におけるそれらの影響メカニズムを明らかにする事を目的とする。本研究により、異常気象の発生予測可能性の向上への貢献が期待される。
