Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、神奈川県周辺に位置するヒンジラインに着目し、4年の研究期間の間に、重力異常データの解析、微動アレイ探査、既存ボーリングデータの収集および地形・地質調査、干渉SAR解析などを実施する。これにより得たデータを統合し、研究対象地域における構造の発達過程やテクトニクス、地震発生プロセスなどの解明を目指す。さらに、プレート境界における歪の蓄積・解放機構に関する考察や、首都圏直下に潜在する活構造の有無についての議論を実施するとともに、国内外の類似事例などとの比較についても試みる。
