Outline of Research at the Start	外来種サキグロタマツメタによるアサリ食害問題が宮城県，福島県を中心に全国的に広がっている．アサリがサキグロタマツメタから捕食されないためには礫の存在が有効であることが報告されているが，なぜ礫が存在することで捕食されにくいかはよく分かっていない．そこで食害防止対策として礫利用の有効性を検討するとともに，アサリ防除のメカニズムを明らかにすることで効果的な礫の利用方法に関する知見を得ることを目指す．
