Outline of Research at the Start

空き家を改修して再生・活用することの重要性が高まっているが、職人の高齢化やなり手不足がボトルネックになっている。この状況に対し、従来の大工ではなく素人DIYerや市民と協力して改修工事を行う人々に着目し、人材の特徴や可能性および改修工事のプロセスを明らかにし、空き家再生だけでなく地域活性化を図る方法を解明する。また、本研究では、こうした人材を育成する参加型プロセスを含めた計画技術を開発することで、空き家問題に創造的に取り組む。本研究は、大改修時代において自らの力で創造的に空き家と地域を活性化する第二・三の人材を見出し、空き家再生の考え方の転換を図るものである。
