Outline of Research at the Start	被災地という空間を越えて，異なる地域での実災害における効果的な災害経験の知識移転を解明・実現することが本研究のミッションである．被災から生まれた経験・知恵（伝承知）が，災害伝承の事業や活動を通して「異なる災害と災害の間」（災間：さいかん）において伝播する過程を追跡調査する（トラッキングする）ことで，「あのとき聞いた・知ったことが役立った」という実態の有無を捉え，被災地を越える災害伝承にそもそも効果あるのか，被災地を越える災害伝承が効果をもたらす要因は何かを明らかにする．得られた知見を災害伝承の実務者と共有することで，科学的根拠にもとづく災害伝承の広域的な体制の確立に貢献する．
