Outline of Research at the Start

This research aims to discover evidence about patient safety in telemedicine and to establish a PROACTIVE telemedicine-related incident management system. Firstly, a taxonomy system for telemedicine-related incident is developed. Secondly, applying the taxonomy system to a number of telemedicine-related incidents, the systematic evidence is obtained such as the critical risks and the main contributing factors. Finally, a PROACTIVE telemedicine-related incident management system is established that could identify the potential risks beforehand and apply preventive measures proactively.
