Outline of Research at the Start	内陸で発生する地震では大陸性地殻特有の地表とモホ面との間で反射することで生じるLg波やSmS波が発生して地震波が大きくなることがある。西日本はLg波が伝わりやすいために局所的に地震動が大きくなる可能性はないだろうか。そこで我が国に蓄積されている膨大な強震記録を活用して中四国における大陸地殻特有の地震波の生成について検討する。さらに最先端の解析手法を強震記録に適用して中四国の３次元地殻構造モデルを高解像度化する。そのモデルを用いて中央構造線による地震動シミュレーションを実施し、中国・四国地方の地震動予測の高度化を行う。
