Outline of Research at the Start	本研究課題では、自然災害についての記述を含む小説・随筆・詩を「物語性テキスト」として捉え、防災教育におけるその価値と活用可能性について、エコクリティシズムの手法を用いながら分析する。方法としては、大規模自然災害を経験した地域においてアンケート・ヒアリング調査を実施し、そこでの防災教育のプログラムおよび教材を分析し、その重要な構成要素を把握する。並行して、自然災害の描写を含んだ小説・随筆・詩の分析を行い、類型化する。さらに、災害に関連する物語性テキストが災害リスク認識および長期的・短期的記憶におよぼす影響を明らかにする。
