Outline of Research at the Start

Trapping of Rydberg atoms in a 1D chain next to optical nanofibers will be investigated. A 2-color fiber dipole trap will be obtained. The optical depth of the trap will be optimized using deep learning algorithms. We will explore creating a 1D chain next to the optical nanofiber using holographic traps.
