KeywordsPyrazinacenes / Azaacenes / Redox / Near Infrared emission / bioimaging
Outline of Research at the Start

REDOX-active pyrazinacenes that are able to act as sensors for redox imbalance in biological systems will be developed. REDOX-active pyrazinacenes appended with electron donor groups that are anticipated to show large redox-coupled spectral shifts (absorption/emission) will be prepared and studied.
