Outline of Research at the Start	O 型糖鎖の迅速かつ効率的な切断とシアル酸の結合様式特異的な化学修飾の両方を兼ね備えた新規解析法を構築することを目的として、(1) タンパク質上における O 型糖鎖のシアル酸結合様式特異的修飾法、(2) 様々な β 脱離法によるシアル酸誘導糖タンパク質からの O 型糖鎖の切断法、(3) 安定同位体試薬を用いた O 型糖鎖比較 M S 解析法、さらに (4) α2,3シアリル化 O 型糖タンパク質の濃縮・精製法の開発に取り組む。
