Outline of Research at the Start	乳酸菌の中には菌体表層にムーンライティングタンパク質（MP）を発現するものがあり、これは宿主接着に関与すると考えられている。一部の病原菌にも乳酸菌と共通のMPが菌体表層に局在し、宿主への接着を媒介する病原性因子として働く。そこで本研究は、菌体表層にMPが局在する乳酸菌を選抜あるいは作出し，未だ不明な部分が多いMPの菌体表層提示機構を解明し、種々のムーンライティングタンパク質を固定化した金属ナノ粒子を作製し、これら作出した乳酸菌やMP固定化金属ナノ粒子を用いた病原菌の宿主接着に対する阻害効果を検証する。
