Outline of Research at the Start	真核生物mRNAの3’末端に存在するポリ(A)鎖は、安定性・翻訳開始・翻訳終結・分解といったmRNAの一生を制御するうえで、中心的な役割を担っている。精子形成細胞におけるポリ(A)鎖の動態は体細胞とは大きく異なり、またポリ(A)鎖関連因子のノックアウトマウスは精子形成不全を引き起こすことが複数知られている。本研究は、ポリ(A)鎖を介した精子形成の多段階制御について包括的に理解することを目的としている。
