Outline of Research at the Start	高濃度のグルコース存在下では、分子シャペロンであるSsb1とSsb2（Ssb1/2）、Glc7ホスファターゼやその調節サブユニットであるReg1が複合体を形成し、これによりGlc7がSnf1キナーゼに近接され、Snf1が脱リン酸化および不活性化する。この結果、グルコース抑制が生じる。申請者は、Ssb1/2だけでなく、これら分子シャペロンの制御因子であるZuo1もグルコース抑制に必要であることを新たに見いだした。このため本研究では、分子シャペロン制御因子であるZuo1に加えてその機能パートナーであるSsz1が、グルコース抑制にどのように寄与しているかを明らかにする。
