慣行栽培条件で高タンパク質米となる変異系統(仮名KHN1)について、交配とゲノムシーケンスを組み合わせて原因遺伝子を同定することで、肥料の投入を抑えつつタンパク質栄養価を高めた米の生産を実現できる新たな方法論の提示をめざす。
