Outline of Research at the Start	高温耐性と耐水性に劣るキウイフルーツを，近年の高温・多雨の環境下で正常に生育させるため，耐水性に優れる台木を用いて，高温耐性に優れる品種の湛水式水耕栽培を試みる．また，生育に適した培養液条件の検討を行うとともに，塩ストレス処理による果実の糖度上昇の効果を明らかにする．さらに，地球温暖化対応となる屋上緑化を目的として，屋上でのキウイフルーツの湛水式水耕栽培の実用化を試みる．
