Outline of Research at the Start	世界遺産には登録資産を保護するために適切な緩衝地帯を設定することとされている。しかし、日本では世界遺産の集落では人口が増加しているところもあるのに対し緩衝地帯の集落では少子高齢化が進むなど課題も多い。本研究は人が生活する集落が登録資産の「白川郷・五箇山の合掌造り集落」および「石見銀山遺跡とその文化的景観」を対象に世界文化遺産の登録が緩衝地帯に与えた影響の有無を把握し、その効果を検証する。
