Outline of Research at the Start

カシノナガキクイムシ（以下カシナガ）の随伴生物に着目し、それらの中からカシナガの移動・分散特性を間接的に追跡するための新たなDNAマーカーを探索する。随伴生物としては、共生菌、腸内微生物、線虫などを候補とし、これらの種組成やDNA多型をカシナガ地域個体群間で比較検討することにより、カシナガの移動・分散を代弁しうるものを絞り込む。新たに採取するサンプルとともに、過去のエタノール保存サンプルを活用することで、時間軸に沿った比較も試みる。
