Outline of Research at the Start

島嶼地域の農業における最大のネックは，島嶼の遠隔性・環海性の条件から生ずる物流の問題である。本研究では，島嶼農業のこれまでの産地形成過程において，物流の問題をいかに克服・改善し，競争力を確保しているか，そして現在の物流上の課題が何に起因するかについて明らかにする。また，物流に関する品目別の共通性と特殊性を整理するとともに，島の条件の違いについても検討を行い，物流から見た島嶼農業の産地形成の理論化を進める。さらに島嶼の物流に関する各種の支援策の効果についても検証を行う。
