Outline of Research at the Start	農業水利施設や生物多様性に深刻な被害を与えるアメリカザリガニは，環境省および農林水産省により2023年6月に条件付特定外来生物に指定された。本研究では，本種の巣穴によるため池の決壊防止や，ため池の生物多様性保全に貢献することを目標とし，最終的には「ため池のアメリカザリガニ防除対策マニュアル」を提案する。代表研究者はこれまで，アメリカザリガニによる農業被害が生じている現場で本種を効率的に駆除できる安価かつ簡便な手法を提案した。本研究計画では，この知見を基礎とし，ため池に定着したアメリカザリガニの効率的防除手法を提案する。
