Outline of Research at the Start	サルの神経細胞に潜伏感染しているBウイルスは、ストレスにより潜伏感染が破綻し、ウイルスの再活性化、回帰発症を起こして人への感染源となる。本研究では、ウイルスが再活性化して人への感染源となるのを防ぐために、潜伏感染を破綻させる原因分子を同定し、感染サルでのウイルス再活性化阻害による感染予防対策を提案する。 JNKシグナルが活性化した細胞の核内で検出されるタンパク質を同定後、潜伏感染を担うウイルス因子LATの発現量を指標に潜伏感染を破綻させる原因分子を決定する。その後、原因分子による潜伏感染破綻の機序を明らかにする。
