Outline of Research at the Start	本研究ではB細胞の機能調節に重要なCD40L（CD40リガンド）に着目し、ウイルス感染防御抗原とCD40Lをキメラ遺伝子として発現するDNAプラスミドを構築し、免疫抗原と免疫刺激リガンドの2重機能を併せ持った新規ワクチンの創製を目標とする。BVDV防疫の問題を克服する効果的なワクチン基盤の研究は、家畜衛生の観点から大きな役割を果たすことが期待できる。
