Outline of Research at the Start	肉用・乳用牛の生産能力が高まる一方、受胎性の低下が問題となっている。生産性の維持には牛の受胎性向上が不可欠であり、発情期から母体妊娠認識までの受胎プロセスにおける子宮機能の解明が急務である。本研究では、発情期の子宮内膜の生理的変化がその後の受胎（着床）に向けた一連の変化を引き起こすトリガーと捉え、発情期における牛子宮内膜変化の局所調節因子の特定、子宮内膜変化の調節メカニズム、子宮内膜変化調節因子発現量と受胎性との関係について解明することを目的とする。本研究の成果は、牛子宮内膜機能異常の診断を可能にし、受胎性改善と生産性向上により安定した食料供給への貢献が期待できる。
