Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、長期的な低線量被曝が牛の健康に与える影響の有無を明らかにすることを目的として実施する。特に、数年前から調査牧場の被曝牛で発生が増加している牛白血病と被曝との関連を究明し、放射線誘発腫瘍として広く知られている甲状腺癌など固形癌の発生の有無を検索する。さらに、被曝の影響が疑われている原因不明の白斑の発生メカニズムの解明を目指す。
